Alleine der Gastgeber ist 5 Sterne wert. Noch nie einen Gastgeber erlebt, der mit so viel Leidenschaft seinen Beruf ausübt. Wie meinte er so trefflich: ich liebe meinen Beruf. Er ist charmant, schaut permanent ob alles passt und für einen Schweizer wirklich gesprächig ;-), egal ob zu den Stammgäste oder Neuen. Nun zum Restaurant. Es ist ein kleines schickes Restaurant an der Seepromenade von Gardone mit schönen Blick auf den Gardasee. Der Service ist zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist vorzüglich. Wir hatten Nudeln mit Meeresfrüchten und Tiramisu. Beides war lecker und Tiramisu ist eine große Portion. Das Preisniveau ist gehoben, aber absolut gerechtfertigt. Wenn man in Gardone oder Salo Urlaub macht, dann muss man hier Essen gehen, was ich sicher wieder machen werde, wenn ich dort bin. Zu hundert Prozent zu empfehlen!!!

Nicholas restaurant provided us with an unparalleled dining experience during our week-long stay at Lake Garda. The service was truly on the highest level, with attentive staff ensuring our wine glasses were never empty. Nicholas himself made several visits to our table, ensuring everything was to our satisfaction, and I'm confident any issues would have been swiftly resolved.
The culinary journey at Nicholas was outstanding. The lamb chops and veal were juicy and packed with heavenly flavors, leaving us wanting more. The seafood salad was top-notch, showcasing the freshest catch expertly combined with vibrant ingredients. However, the fish dish received a 3-star rating as it lacked that extra cherry on top to make it truly exceptional.
The restaurant's ambiance was captivating, especially during late evenings, with a fantastic view to enhance our dining pleasure. The overall atmosphere was remarkable, adding to the overall charm of the dining experience.
In conclusion, Nicholas is undoubtedly the best dining experience we had during our Lake Garda visit. The attentive service, mouthwatering lamb chops and veal, and delightful seafood salad made for an unforgettable evening. Though the fish dish didn't quite hit the mark, the overall experience was outstanding. Our party extends heartfelt thanks to the owner for creating such a memorable dining experience.
Absolut toller Service, der Chef ist stets bemüht und kümmert sich bis aufs Äußerste um seine Gäste. Wir reisen viel und besuchen viele Restaurants, aber so etwas wie hier findet man selten. Abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte, tolle Küche. Wir kommen wieder!
Il y a une certaine ambition dans la cuisine. Le résultat est très correct mais ce n'est pas inoubliable non plus. L'addition est assez salée mais on passe un bon moment en face du lac donc on se dit que cela en vaut la peine.
Hervorragende Küche, tolle Lage und super Service!!! Der Chef und sein Team sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Dazu hat man einen tollen Seeblick. Das Restaurant ist auch gut mit dem Boot zu erreichen. Es gibt mehre Bojen und einen Steg in direkter Nähe. Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut weiterempfehlen!

What a lovely restaurant! Wonderful, polite, attentive old fashioned good service given by people who really make you feel like a special guest. The food is delicious and tastes home cooked. The setting is magical, right by the lake, with a beautiful atmosphere. If you can’t decide what to eat or drink just ask one of the waiters and they will give you fantastic recommendations with a smile. Loved this place and I highly recommend that you go there for a beautiful dinner on lake Garda.
Nettes Lokal direkt am Seeufer. Wir waren in unserem Urlaub zweimal hier essen. Das Essen ist wirklich von guter Qualität, ebenso der Wein. Insbesondere die Hauptspeisen hätten allerdings wärmer sein können. Service war ok, mal sehr nett aber auch mal sehr ignorant.
